Dress code
It will be very hot in the Tuscan hills so for your own comfort please wear light cool clothing, nothing too heavy. Suits are optional but smart casual is requested.
Gifts
Your presence is a gift in itself for us. We really appreciate you all for travelling so far to be a part of our big day so we do not require any gifts, just yourselves.
Flights
There are two airports within relatively close proximity to the Villas. The wonderful city of Florence is the closest, but likely more expensive option with a 40-50 minute drive. The second is Pisa (be sure to stop off at the Tower!) which is a little further out with a 1 hr 30 min drive but this is usually the cheapest option.
Car rental
We strongly advise if renting a car you apply for an international driving permit application. Many car rental companies sting you on arrival if this isn't held.
Accommodation
There are several wonderful accommodation options in Greve in Chianti, just a 10-minute drive from the venue. Whether you prefer a boutique hotel, a charming bed and breakfast, or a countryside villa, there are plenty of choices to suit all preferences.
Albergo Giovanni da Verrazzano is a traditional hotel located in the heart of Greve with a beautiful terrace overlooking the main square.
Albergo Casa al Sole is a small, cozy hotel offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
